Ceratizit’s new range of products and investments in machine tools

MTDCNC had the opportunity to visit Ceratizit’s stand at MACH 2022, where Managing Director Tony Pennington had a lot to share about the company’s biggest successes. Ceratizit’s catalogue features all the new products from the last two years, including vending machines, turning products, and the latest coating technology Dragonskin coating. The Ceratizit Group offers over 100,000 products that are stocked in Sheffield and at their central distribution centre in Germany. Customers can order till 6 pm for express delivery the next day. They have a fantastic range that covers all materials and applications in terms of milling, coating, specific tools for heat-resistant titanium and aluminum, and their SilverLine product known for its exceptional performance and recommended by engineers as a tool for application. Milling is one of Ceratizit’s biggest aspects with a strong focus on solid carbide milling. With a new Sheffield technical centre opened in October 2021, Ceratizit is continually investing in people and technology to help solve the challenges of customers. They’ve also invested in machine tools from Mazak and Star and are constantly evolving and developing tools to bring new technologies.
