PSL Datatrack – Planning – Process Layouts – Production Control Software
Process Layouts/Route Cards provide a complete engineering specification for the production of a component or assembly. The sheet(s) can be automatically generated when a works order is entered onto the system, based on the process defined in the associated quotation. The descriptions are likely to be brief ‘one liners.’ The Process Layouts module is where the technical side of a quotation is expanded. The user can optionally modify the quotation from within Process Layouts to be more definitive about the operation instructions and add details such as tools, fixtures, gauge details and part program numbers. PSL Datatrack – Quality – Non Conformance – Production Control Software
The Non Conformance modules incorporate both Supplier Non Conformance (SNC) and Works Non Conformance (WNC). SNC works with Goods Received to manage issues relating to goods supplied to you. WNC works with Works Orders to manage issues relating to components or assemblies you are manufacturing. PSL Datatrack – Purchasing – Material Stocks – Production Control Software
The Material Stocks module tracks raw materials from the point a purchase order is raised through to allocating and issuing the material to a works order. Full traceability of the raw materials is provided. Material allocations can be set so that only material batches from approved goods received notes (GRNs) can be allocated. Preferred suppliers can be defined for specific materials, complete with individual prices and descriptions. Minimum quantities can be controlled to ensure that prompts for stock replenishment occur when needed. Certificates can be saved in a central Document Management point. PSL Datatrack – Options – Listing Screens – Production Control Software
Listing screens are powerful displays that enable record filtering and rapid on-screen reporting. They are available in the following PSL Datatrack modules: Company Details, Purchase Orders, Quotations, Sequential Scheduler, Tasks and Works Orders. The user can search and sort by many parameters with extra columns available to be turned on in the options menu of each. Final lists can be printed or exported if necessary. When exiting a listing screen the system checks to see if the selection filter has been changed. If the filter has changed the user is prompted whether or not to save the filter. Benefits Enables
