Berode GmbH is advancing its manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of a new Hyundai WIA KF 3500/5A, a sophisticated 5-axis machining centre provided by ARO-TEC GmbH. This strategic investment is designed to enhance the company’s capacity for producing complex components with elevated precision.
The integration of a customised clamping solution from HWR has been a decisive factor in this upgrade. The system comprises a SOLIDPoint zero-point plate, a SOLIDPoint riser, and a SOLIDGrip centre clamping device, all contributing to heightened stability and process reliability. This setup enables the efficient machining of demanding workpieces in a single configuration, thereby reducing the frequency of changeovers. As a result, production times are shortened and potential deviations during processing are minimised.
Berode GmbH reports several significant advantages stemming from this new setup. These include improved dimensional accuracy, more reliable and reproducible processes, enhanced access to workpieces, and reduced setup and machining times. Collectively, these advancements translate into an expanded range of services available to customers, positioning Berode for success in fulfilling demanding customer projects.
The synthesis of a high-performance machine, cutting-edge clamping technology, and comprehensive expertise in manufacturing is poised to unlock new opportunities for Berode GmbH. This move is pivotal for the company as it continues to uphold its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction in the industry.
