Kitamura Machinery has announced two recent installations of its Mycenter-5XV II vertical machining center, showcasing its capabilities in Canada and Wisconsin. The machine, known for its large frame and minimal floor space requirements, is gaining popularity among manufacturers looking for efficiency without sacrificing capacity.

The Mycenter-5XV II features a generous table size of 27.6” x 55.9”, accommodating larger parts while maintaining a compact footprint. It is equipped with a high-speed, 41HP dual contact spindle that operates at 15,000rpm, making it suitable for high-demand machining tasks. The machine also includes a 40-tool automatic tool changer, enhancing productivity and reducing downtime.

A standout feature is the IAC System 1 thermal compensation system, which ensures precision even during intense operation. Additionally, the Arumatik-Mi CNC control represents the next generation in user interface technology, offering increased control flexibility to operators.

Both installations were facilitated by local partners, DiPaolo Machine Tools Ltd in Canada and Concept Wisconsin – Advanced Manufacturing Solutions. Their collaboration underscores the growing demand for advanced machining solutions that do not require reconfiguring existing manufacturing setups.

Kitamura Machinery, known for innovative manufacturing solutions, aims to support businesses seeking to enhance their production capabilities. With these recent installations, the Mycenter-5XV II continues to prove its value to the industry, delivering high performance without demanding more space.
