
Muratec USA recently hosted representatives from MHI: The Association That Makes Supply Chains Work, at their headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event provided an opportunity for MHI members to experience Muratec’s cutting-edge manufacturing technology firsthand.
Key highlights of the visit included demonstrations of Muratec’s VORTEX 870 spinning machine, known for its efficiency and precision, and the M2048 turret punch press, which impressed attendees with its capacity and strength. The tour also featured insights into machine rebuilds and showcased a variety of CNC lathes in the company’s expansive showroom.
A standout attraction was the high-density Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), which exemplifies Muratec’s innovation in maximising storage efficiency. This visit facilitated meaningful discussions about expanding collaborative efforts between Muratec and MHI to further enhance supply chain processes.
