Sandvik Coromant welcomed manufacturing professionals from across the industry to TechDays 2026 in Mebane.

Attending on behalf of MTDCNC were Arthur Field and Ana Fernanda Melendez, who spent the week exploring the technologies, strategies, and engineering expertise driving Sandvik Coromant’s “From Concept to Creation” initiative.
The theme reflected a broader shift within manufacturing, highlighting how Sandvik Coromant is helping customers tackle production challenges across the complete manufacturing process. From initial concept and process planning through to machining, inspection, automation, and optimisation.
The message also aligned closely with Sandvik Coromant’s upcoming IMTS 2026 campaign.

Throughout the event, Arthur and Fer gained insight into how Sandvik Coromant is integrating machining technologies with digital manufacturing solutions, process optimisation strategies, metrology, software platforms, automation, and engineering consultancy to create a fully connected manufacturing ecosystem.
