Escorts Kubota Expands Digitrac Range into Full-Fledged Series to Strengthen Mid-HP Tractor Segment!
Escorts Kubota Limited has expanded its Digitrac portfolio under the Powertrac brand with the launch of three new tractor models, transforming the range into a complete series in the 45–55 HP category. This move marks a significant step in the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive tractor market while catering to the evolving needs of modern farmers.
With the addition of the new models—Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43i Plus, and Digitrac PP 41i—the Digitrac lineup now grows from two to five models. The series is designed to support advanced farming operations and heavy haulage applications, offering a combination of performance, durability, and contemporary styling. Positioned within the Powertrac brand, Digitrac targets new-age, aspirational farmers seeking higher capability tractors without moving into premium price segments.
This expansion aligns with Escorts Kubota’s broader multi-brand strategy, which includes Kubota for premium offerings, Farmtrac for entry-premium, and Powertrac for value-driven solutions. By strengthening the Digitrac range, the company aims to bridge the gap between affordability and advanced features, making modern tractor technology more accessible to a wider customer base across India.
The existing Digitrac models—PP 46i and PP 43i—have already gained strong traction in the market, particularly among younger farmers drawn to their modern design and premium aesthetics. Building on this success, the newly introduced models enhance the overall offering with improved capabilities and versatility.
Across the expanded range, all five models are equipped with a host of advanced features designed to improve productivity and ease of operation. These include higher-capacity engines for better performance, larger tyres for enhanced traction, and side-shift gear mechanisms for improved operator comfort. The tractors are also fitted with a 12 forward plus 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox, enabling smoother gear transitions and better control during varied farming tasks.
Additional features such as independent power take-off (iPTO) and a robust hydraulic lifting capacity of up to 2,000 kg further enhance the tractors’ versatility. This allows compatibility with a wide range of modern implements, including super seeders, reapers, reversible MB ploughs, and laser levellers—tools that are increasingly essential for efficient and mechanised farming practices.
The launch represents Escorts Kubota’s fourth major tractor introduction since early 2025, following the rollout of the Farmtrac Promaxx series, Kubota MU4201, and the Powertrac Shaurya paddy series. This consistent pipeline of new products reflects the company’s focused approach to portfolio expansion and market penetration.
