Sasken Technologies Launches Hyderabad CoE to Accelerate Next-Gen Engineering Innovation!

Sasken Technologies Ltd has announced the launch of a new Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, marking a strategic expansion of its engineering and digital transformation capabilities. The new facility strengthens Sasken’s regional delivery network while enhancing collaboration with key ecosystem partners, including Qualcomm and its OEM network.

Located in one of India’s fastest-growing technology hubs, the Hyderabad CoE will focus on next-generation engineering domains such as connected devices, 5G platforms, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, embedded systems, and digital product engineering. The centre is designed to enable closer engagement with customers, accelerate development cycles, and support faster innovation across multiple industries, including automotive, smart devices, high-tech, satellite communications, and industrial sectors.

As part of this initiative, Nirmala Datla, Chief Data Science & Engineering Officer, has been appointed as the Site Leader for the Hyderabad CoE. She will be responsible for driving delivery excellence, building advanced capabilities, and nurturing talent to support global engineering programs.

Sasken also plans to recruit over 100 specialised professionals in the coming months, targeting high-skill roles across semiconductors, automotive, original design manufacturing (ODM), and data science. This hiring initiative reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its expertise in emerging technologies and scaling its global engineering services.

According to Nirmala Datla, the new CoE represents a strategic investment aimed at expanding delivery capabilities, deepening collaboration with partners, and accelerating innovation. Hareesh Ramanna, Chief Experience Officer, added that the expansion aligns with Sasken’s broader growth strategy, enabling the company to deliver solutions with greater speed, scale, and proximity to customers.
