
Mercedes-Benz Expands Goa Presence with New Luxury Service Facility in Margao!
Mercedes-Benz India has strengthened its footprint in Goa with the inauguration of its first luxury service facility in South Goa, located in Margao. The new centre, operated by Counto Motors, marks a strategic expansion aimed at improving customer accessibility and enhancing after-sales support in the region.
Margao, widely regarded as the commercial hub of Goa, now hosts a dedicated Mercedes-Benz service facility, catering to the growing base of luxury vehicle owners in South Goa. The new centre complements Counto Motors’ existing 3S facility in Ribandar, North Goa, and reflects increasing demand for premium automotive services driven by rising affluence and infrastructure development in the region.
The facility spans a built-up area of 8,598 square feet and is equipped with four service bays, including two primary and two support bays. Designed for operational efficiency, the workshop layout enables quicker turnaround times while maintaining high service standards expected from a luxury automotive brand.
A key highlight of the facility is its integration of advanced digital and diagnostic technologies. Systems such as XENTRY and Digital Service Drive tools enable precise diagnostics, streamlined workflows, and real-time updates for customers. These technologies enhance transparency and efficiency, ensuring a seamless service experience.
Customers can access a comprehensive range of services, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, genuine parts replacement, and service consultations. The centre also offers pick-up and drop facilities, along with warranty and goodwill support, ensuring convenience and reliability throughout the ownership lifecycle. Dedicated service advisors and trained technicians further enhance the personalised experience.
According to Shekhar Bhide, Vice President – Customer Services, the new facility reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering a superior ownership experience by bringing world-class service closer to customers.
The Margao centre represents Mercedes-Benz India’s second service location in Goa and aligns with its broader strategy of expanding into high-growth regional markets. The company has outlined plans to introduce 12 new products in 2026 and expand its dealership network with 20 additional outlets across India, reflecting strong confidence in the country’s luxury automotive segment.
