LANXESS Showcases Advanced and Sustainable Rubber Solutions at India Rubber Expo 2026!
LANXESS is presenting its comprehensive portfolio for the rubber industry at the 12th India Rubber Expo 2026, taking place from April 7 to 10 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. At Booth B006 in Hall 5, the company is highlighting a wide spectrum of innovations spanning rubber chemicals, specialty chemicals, and advanced processing solutions.
A major focus for LANXESS at this year’s exhibition is its Functional Tire Additives portfolio, which addresses every stage of rubber production. The company is showcasing a complete range of accelerators, antioxidants, anti-ozonants, and peptizers designed to enhance the durability, efficiency, and performance of rubber products, particularly in demanding automotive applications.
Among the standout innovations is Vulkanox HS Scopeblue, a more sustainable version of the widely used antioxidant Vulkanox HS (TMQ). This advanced solution protects rubber components from degradation caused by heat and oxygen while offering significantly improved environmental performance. It delivers more than a 30 percent reduction in carbon footprint compared to conventional alternatives and is produced using 55 percent sustainable raw materials, including biocircular acetone and renewable energy. The product is manufactured at an ISCC PLUS-certified facility in Germany, reinforcing LANXESS’s commitment to sustainability across its value chain.
Another key highlight is Vulkanox 4060, which is positioned as a sustainable alternative to 6PPD. It provides comparable protection against oxidative aging in both tire compounds and finished products, as validated through laboratory and real-world application testing. In addition to these, LANXESS is also presenting a broad portfolio of established solutions such as Vulkacit, Vulkanox, Renacit, Zinkoxyd aktiv, NaMBT 50 percent, Vulkanox 4005, and Benzothiazole, all of which play critical roles in enhancing rubber processing and performance.
In the Specialty Rubber Products segment, LANXESS is demonstrating its capability to support the entire value chain, from compound formulation to finished components. Its offerings include pre-dispersed chemicals, processing aids, vulcanization and filler activators, anti-sun check waxes, release agents, and latex chemicals. The company’s advanced manufacturing facility in Jhagadia plays a crucial role in supplying next-generation release agents to the Indian market, strengthening its local manufacturing footprint.
LANXESS is also showcasing innovative solutions such as filler-free inside tire paints like Rhenodiv BP-337 and BP-338, which enable clean and efficient demolding without hydrogen release while reducing overall material consumption. Advanced materials including Rhenogran CLD 80, Aflux SD, and Vulcuren are designed to improve processing stability, enhance crosslinking efficiency, and deliver long-term performance. These innovations are particularly important for the development of sustainable, low rolling resistance green tires.
Further expanding its portfolio, LANXESS is presenting a diverse range of plasticizers and flame retardants. These include phthalate-free plasticizers, polymeric variants with high extraction resistance, and halogen-free phosphate-based solutions. Key brands on display include Mesamoll, Ultramoll, Disflamoll, Reofos, Levagard, Firemaster, and Emerald Innovation.
Overall, LANXESS’s presence at India Rubber Expo 2026 highlights its strong commitment to driving innovation, sustainability, and performance in the rubber industry while supporting India’s growing role as a global manufacturing and automotive hub.
