fischer Group is strengthening its global manufacturing footprint with new and expanded production facilities across Asia, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy and commitment to regional markets. The latest investments in India and China highlight the company’s focus on localisation, faster delivery and closer customer engagement.

In India, fischer has established a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, dedicated to installation systems. The site is designed to cater to rising domestic demand while improving supply chain efficiency across the region. By localising production, the company aims to reduce lead times, enhance service responsiveness and better align with customer requirements in one of its fastest-growing markets.

Meanwhile, in China, fischer has expanded its existing plant in Taicang, Jiangsu province, with the addition of a new production line. This facility will manufacture components for heavy-duty fixing systems and structural retrofitting solutions. Operations at the new line have already commenced, with deliveries to the Chinese market beginning in May, followed by wider distribution across Asia later in the year. The Taicang plant has been a key part of fischer’s global production network since 1997, making this expansion a strategic enhancement of an established base.

The company’s expansion strategy also extends beyond India and China. In the Middle East, fischer has established a new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, with a major production facility under development in Dammam. This site is expected to begin operations soon, further strengthening the company’s presence in the region. Additionally, fischer has been manufacturing fastening solutions in Vietnam since 2022, supporting its growing footprint in Southeast Asia.

According to company leadership, these investments reflect the increasing importance of regional manufacturing in today’s global environment. Proximity to customers, faster response times and supply chain resilience are becoming critical factors for maintaining competitiveness. By expanding its local production capabilities, fischer is positioning itself to better serve regional markets while reducing dependence on long-distance supply chains.

The Bengaluru facility also aligns with India’s “Make in India” initiative, combining German engineering expertise with local manufacturing strengths. This approach not only supports domestic industrial growth but also enables the company to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to local market needs.

From a strategic perspective, Asia remains central to fischer’s long-term growth plans. The region’s rapid industrialisation, infrastructure development and increasing demand for high-performance fastening solutions present significant opportunities for expansion. By investing in advanced manufacturing facilities, the company aims to drive innovation, improve service levels and ensure faster delivery across key markets.

Overall, fischer’s latest expansion underscores a broader shift toward regionalised manufacturing strategies. By strengthening its presence across Asia and the Middle East, the company is building a more resilient, responsive and globally integrated production network, positioning itself for sustained growth in an increasingly competitive industrial landscape.
