Microfinish / Superfinish for balls and sockets with the Thielenhaus Sphero.
Sphero is the Thielenhaus platform for the flexible machining of spherical parts. When machining with Sphero you not only achieve an optimal surface, but also a perfect form.
With the work piece spindle which can be swivelled up to 90° as well as the force-controlled work piece spindle, work pieces can be machined with the highest degree of process reliability. Surface precision machining with ceramic or metallic parts minimises the surface roughness and simultaneously improves its geometry. This ensures a better seat, e.g. for ball joints, as well as a reduction in friction and wear and tear.
