A showcase of cutting-edge technologies from Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibitors

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 is set to host one of its most innovation-driven editions yet, as exhibitors unveil new technologies, sustainable materials and advanced digital capabilities designed to strengthen UK manufacturing and electronics supply chains.

As the UK continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for engineering excellence, innovation remains at the heart of the nation’s manufacturing success. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics has long been the place where that ingenuity is brought to life – a showcase for breakthrough materials, advanced production technologies and next-generation digital tools shaping the future of industry. This year’s exhibitor line-up reflects that spirit of progress, offering visitors an unparalleled opportunity to discover the latest solutions driving productivity, sustainability and competitiveness across the sector.

Digital transformation features prominently at this year’s event, with Tecman showcasing how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can unify manufacturing and distribution data within a single ERP platform. Tecman’s specialists will demonstrate how Business Central enables streamlined processes, improved operational visibility and scalable business growth for engineering and manufacturing organisations.

On stand J200, Thame Workholding will showcase its Samchully JBM/JBH Jaw Boring Open Centre Hydraulic Chuck, the world’s first power chuck with a built-in boring ring. This enables machinists to bore soft jaws using only a standard Allen wrench, eliminating conventional boring rings, reducing set-up time by up to 90% and extending jaw life thanks to its ultra-fine 0.1mm adjustment capability. This is one of several innovations highlighted in Southern Manufacturing & Electronics’ Innovations Gallery for 2026.

The gallery also features Silclear’s re-Sil, a groundbreaking recycled silicone material developed to reduce industrial waste and support more sustainable component production. Originally created to repurpose the organisation’s own silicone scrap, re-Sil now offers manufacturers a compelling route to address the sector’s broader waste challenge.

With visitor registration now open, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 promises an exceptional opportunity for engineers, designers and procurement professionals to discover breakthrough technologies, source new suppliers and build stronger, more sustainable production networks. This year’s show also features the return of the Global Electronics Association’s soldering competition, a new wire harness competition, and two fully-programmed CPD-accredited seminar theatres, offering practical insights into manufacturing improvement and digital adoption.
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics takes place from 3 to 5 February 2026 at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. Register for a free ticket today by visiting the exhibition’s website.
