MMC Hardmetal Celebrates Employee’s 25-Year Milestone

MMC Hardmetal UK Ltd recently celebrated a significant milestone for one of its dedicated employees. Adrian Barnacle, a long-term member of the company, has turned 60 and marked 25 years of service. To commemorate this occasion, Barnacle fulfilled a lifelong dream by flying in a dual seat Spitfire.

Reflecting on the experience, Barnacle shared that if his eyesight had been slightly better, he might have joined the Royal Air Force in his youth. Taking the controls of the Spitfire towards Silverstone, he was accompanied by a pilot who performed aerobatics, making the day truly memorable. Friends and family joined him for the flight, adding to the unique celebration.
