Panasonic Unveils AR-T BLDC Motors and Vacua VIP Panels at ACREX India 2025 to Boost HVAC Efficiency!

At ACREX India 2025, Panasonic Industry unveiled two groundbreaking innovations aimed at enhancing performance, efficiency, and sustainability within the HVAC industry: the AR-T Series BLDC Motors and the Vacua Series Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP).

AR-T Series BLDC Motors: Revolutionizing Motor Technology The AR-T series BLDC motors are designed to significantly reduce noise and vibration, making them ideal for air-cooled chillers that prioritize energy efficiency and high performance. These motors feature aluminium windings and rare earth magnets, providing exceptional efficiency with a maximum output of 3,000 kW while maintaining an impressive 91% efficiency rate. This new motor technology represents a major advancement in energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

Vacua Series VIP: Setting New Standards in Insulation Efficiency The Vacua Series VIP is Panasonic’s fifth generation of vacuum insulation panels, developed to provide superior energy-saving capabilities. These panels, free from Freon and other harmful blowing agents, set new benchmarks in thermal insulation with an industry-leading thermal conductivity of just 0.0013W/mK. With a high-performance glass fibre core and an aluminium outer layer, these panels maintain an internal vacuum at approximately 1/10,000 of atmospheric pressure. Innovations such as wave-shaped edge sealing technology prevent gas intrusion, ensuring long-term reliability and sustainability in energy use.

Driving Industry Growth Narayan Kumar, Divisional Director at Panasonic Industry, emphasized the growing demand in the HVAC industry, which is experiencing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.8%. Factors such as market growth, technological advancements, green building initiatives, and government-driven infrastructure projects are driving this demand. Kumar highlighted how Panasonic’s solutions, including the AR-T BLDC motors and Vacua VIP panels, are aligned with the industry’s increasing focus on environmentally friendly, performance-driven technologies.

Expanding Panasonic’s HVAC Portfolio In addition to these innovations, Panasonic showcased a wide range of advanced components at ACREX India 2025, including industry-leading HVAC compressors used in air conditioning and electric bus applications. The company also presented durable relays, switches, and overvoltage protection solutions such as the ZNR series to enhance the reliability and longevity of electrical systems. Furthermore, Panasonic highlighted its sensor technologies, including the PM 2.5 sensor for air quality monitoring and Grid Eye sensors for thermal detection in smart automation systems, reinforcing its commitment to improving energy efficiency and safety across industries.
