BYD, a leading multinational manufacturer of new energy vehicles and power batteries, has announced the appointment of Maria Grazia Davino as the new regional managing director for Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic, effective 1 December 2024.
Maria Grazia brings a wealth of experience from the automotive industry, having held key positions with major OEMs across various markets. Most recently, she served as UK Group Managing Director at Stellantis, where she oversaw operations across multiple brands and demonstrated a strong track record in driving sales, retail, finance, and marketing strategies at both regional and global levels.
Her previous roles include serving as Stellantis’s senior vice president for sales and marketing in the Enlarged Europe region, where she successfully led the launch of a new retailer model, as well as CEO and managing director positions in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
With degrees in Philosophy and Economics, Maria Grazia possesses a keen analytical approach to the automotive industry’s complex dynamics and is recognized as an influential leader dedicated to innovation and progress.
In her new position at BYD, Maria Grazia will play a crucial role in strengthening the company’s operations across Europe, as BYD continues to expand the distribution and reach of its industry-leading automotive technologies.
