PTC Industries to Acquire Trac Precision Solutions in Full Ownership Agreement!

PTC Industries Ltd, a leading manufacturer of precision metal components for critical and supercritical applications, announced that it has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 100% ownership of Trac Precision Solutions Ltd (TSPL). TSPL, a UK-based company, specializes in producing precision-engineered components for the aviation, defense, and power generation industries. The agreement got finalized on October 20, 2024, representing a strategic expansion for PTC Industries into these key sectors.

As part of the acquisition, PTC Industries will acquire TSPL and its parent company, Trac Holdings Ltd, along with three additional non-operating entities: Broomco (4266) Ltd and Trac Group Ltd. Upon completion, Trac Holdings will be fully owned by PTC, and TSPL and the related entities will be classified as step-down subsidiaries. The acquisition is subject to approval under the UK’s National Security and Investment Act 2021.

This acquisition follows PTC Industries’ recent significant production order from BAE Systems for titanium castings required for the M777 Howitzer. PTC Industries has been manufacturing these components, including Spade Trails and Blades, at its advanced facility in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, for the M777 Ultra-Lightweight Howitzer (ULH).
