So much versatility with these multi pallet machines at Seco’s ITI Event!
An important partner for Seco, Matsuura Machinery has brought some incredible machines to the Inspiration Through…
Matsuura Machinery Ltd is thrilled to announce that, through the generous support of our customers, suppliers and staff, we have successfully raised £31,855 for the Stroke Association. The substantial amount was raised through a combination of donations made to our JustGiving page and gifts to be used in a raffle. For every donation made, Matsuura matched the amount to achieve this fantastic sum for the charity.
The fundraising efforts culminated in a three-day customer open house event, showcasing Matsuura’s cutting-edge automated CNC machinery and 3D printing technology. This was followed by a special family day for staff and their families.
The decision to support the Stroke Association was particularly significant for Matsuura this year, as Dave Edwards, our friend and retired Director, recently suffered a stroke. Dave has been an integral part of our team for 30 years, before retiring from the business in 2018. Many of our customers and suppliers knew Dave well and were affected by his condition. Raising funds for the Stroke Association was our way of honouring Dave and contributing to an organisation that provides crucial support to individuals and families affected by stroke.
Roger Howkins, Managing Director of Matsuura Machinery Ltd, expressed his gratitude over the success of the fundraising campaign. “We are incredibly pleased with the overwhelming support from our customers, suppliers and staff,” said Mr. Howkins. “The funds raised will make a significant difference in the lives of stroke survivors. Our partnership with The Stroke Association is very important to us, and we are proud to contribute to such a worthy cause. The generosity displayed during our events have been truly inspiring.”
Lucy Burnip, Relationship Fundraiser for the Midlands at the Stroke Association, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Matsuura Machinery and their business partners for raising an incredible £31,855 at their recent business open day and family fun day. The money they have raised will help to fund critical stroke research and means that we can continue to support people affected by stroke to live the best life then can. We couldn’t do the work we do without the ongoing support from organisations like Matsuura Machinery.”
