Engineering company Multax were only founded in 2016 but have already doubled in size and have now moved into the big league with the purchase of a new Matsuura MAM72-35V the flagship machine in the Matsuura range. Ashley Mizen Co owner at Multax says they were struggling to produce high value, high volume parts for their customers with their existing machinery but the arrival of the Matsuura MAM72-35V has removed all those issues. As Mark Cumberland from Matsuura tells MTDCNC’s Paul Jones, this 5 Axis behemoth comes with a 200 plus tool magazine, expandable to 330 tools, and has the potential to run for 2 to 3 days unmanned.
