EMAG Mechatronics Apprenticeship targets next generation of manufacturing engineers!

Machine tool and production system specialists EMAG are focused on reducing the skills gap through apprenticeships and automation. Mike Rose from EMAG talks about the 4 to 5-year program that offers the same core curriculum that EU apprentices go through. Students receive classroom training and hands-on experience directly on the apprentice shop floor. Currently a student that’s graduating this September, Austin Marschner, says the program delivers real-world experience to apply knowledge and teaches intricate processes and technical aspects such as filing, hand tools, machining, and blueprint reading. Watch the video for more details on the successful Apprenticeship Program that promotes the sustainability of EMAG and the manufacturing sector in America.
