Phillips Corporation has announced the addition of Gary Gaines as Applications Manager in its Hybrid Division. With over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Gaines brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles as a machinist, shop foreman, and five-axis programmer.
Since joining Phillips in April 2024, Gaines has concentrated on integrating Haas Automation CNC machines into hybrid manufacturing systems. His role primarily involves supporting customers as they transition to and from additive and subtractive workflows. Known for his deep machining knowledge and programming expertise, Gaines is highly regarded for his ability to work collaboratively with clients to tackle complex challenges.
A notable project under his oversight was the design of a custom camera mount system aimed at assisting customers in monitoring thermal properties during printing. This innovation highlights Gaines’ commitment to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
In addition to his professional achievements, Gaines enjoys paintball and golf in his personal time.
