The 4th Hartlepool Boys’ Brigade launched their annual summer camp this week with significant support from NCMT. The camp, held in Edinburgh, benefited from the voluntary efforts of Andy Skee, an NCMT employee, who played a crucial role in ensuring the group’s successful start.
Andy Skee, who holds a BA (Hons) and is a Chartered Manager with the MCMI, volunteered his time to transport the camp’s necessary equipment from Hartlepool to Edinburgh. His dedication didn’t end with the delivery, as he also assisted in setting up games and activities for the youth attendees, ensuring the camp was ready for a week of excitement and learning opportunities.
The return logistics of the camp will also be managed by Andy, as he is scheduled to travel back on Saturday to bring the equipment and resources home, emphasizing NCMT’s commitment to community service and the development of young people.
This initiative highlights NCMT’s ongoing dedication to community support. By involving their employees in charitable activities, the company continues to demonstrate its ethos of giving back to the community and supporting youth programmes.
