On the turning point of Europe, Professor Dr Carlo Masala spoke at the event in Munich on the topic ‘War in Europe – What Does It Mean for the World Community?’ Professor Masala’s presentation shed light on the framework conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and addressed potential long-term consequences for global politics.

“Over the next four years, we will have to deal with the implications of the new geopolitical situation for the global economy together with the executive board,” added Wolfgang Burchard, Managing Director, VDMA Valves Association. “In parallel, the topics of digitalization and sustainable business are driving us and will require a rethink in many areas. This poses numerous challenges for the medium-sized valve industry, but the sector believes it is well prepared for them.”
