Schaeffler AG has entered into a strategic partnership with VinDynamics, a humanoid robotics venture within Vingroup, to advance the development of next-generation humanoid robots. The collaboration marks Schaeffler’s first such partnership in the Asia-Pacific region and strengthens its growing global footprint in the rapidly evolving robotics sector.
At the centre of the partnership is the development and supply of high-precision planetary gearboxes—critical components used in robotic actuator systems. These gearboxes serve as the mechanical core of humanoid robots, enabling controlled, efficient, and precise motion in joints and limbs.
