Phillips Set to Redefine Indian Manufacturing with Its New Manufacturing Expertise Center in Pune!

Phillips Machine Tools is on the brink of a transformative milestone in India’s manufacturing landscape. The company is all set to inaugurate its state-of-the-art Manufacturing Expertise Center in Chakan, Pune, on 6 November 2025 — a move that underlines its commitment to driving innovation, collaboration, and advanced skill development in the country’s industrial ecosystem. The launch will be followed by Aarohan 2025, Phillips’ flagship three-day technology showcase event, from 7 to 9 November, marking a new era of technological exchange and hands-on learning for Indian manufacturers.

This upcoming centre is envisioned as far more than a conventional training or demo facility. It will serve as a live innovation lab — a dynamic space where cutting-edge global technologies meet practical Indian manufacturing needs. By bridging the gap between innovation and application, Phillips aims to empower domestic manufacturers with direct access to world-class solutions, helping them enhance productivity, precision, and efficiency without having to rely on overseas resources.

Right after the grand opening, Aarohan 2025 will set the tone for the future of smart manufacturing in India. With the theme “Connecting Machines, Minds, and Manufacturers,” the event will bring together industry leaders, technology providers, and decision-makers from across the world to explore how digitalisation, automation, and advanced machining are reshaping modern production. The three-day showcase promises an immersive experience, featuring live demonstrations, open-house factory tours, expert-led sessions, and knowledge-sharing panels.

Visitors will get to witness a wide range of technologies in action — from advanced milling, turning, and 5-axis machining systems to high-precision grinding and metal forming solutions. The event will also highlight additive manufacturing, robotics, and digital manufacturing systems, offering a first-hand look at the convergence of physical and digital production technologies that define Industry 4.0.

According to Terrence Miranda, Managing Director of Phillips Machine Tools, the new Manufacturing Expertise Center represents a strategic step toward consolidating advanced manufacturing capabilities under one roof. He noted that Aarohan 2025 goes beyond being just a display of high-end machines — it’s a platform where ideas, innovations, and industry collaborations come together to inspire meaningful progress in Indian manufacturing.

Aarohan 2025 is expected to attract participants from over ten countries, including global OEMs, technology partners, and manufacturing leaders. With more than 50 live exhibits and demonstrations, the event aims to equip Indian manufacturers with actionable insights on how to adopt and implement next-generation technologies in real-world production environments.

By pairing the inauguration of the Manufacturing Expertise Center with the Aarohan 2025 showcase, Phillips Machine Tools is positioning itself as a catalyst in India’s industrial evolution. This initiative reflects the company’s long-standing mission — to democratise access to advanced technologies and help Indian manufacturers step confidently into the era of intelligent, connected, and globally competitive production.
