Montreal Manufacturing Technology Show 2026 is set to return on May 11–12, 2026, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, and industry leaders from across Québec and Canada. Organised by SME, the event is positioned as a key platform for manufacturers evaluating new technologies, production strategies, and long-term investment decisions.

The two-day exhibition is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees along with over 200 suppliers showcasing the latest manufacturing innovations. More than 100 new products and production-ready technologies will be presented, covering a broad spectrum of manufacturing applications and industrial solutions.

This year’s edition of MMTS places a strong emphasis on helping manufacturers make informed business and technology decisions in an increasingly competitive and uncertain global environment. The event’s compact two-day format has been designed to provide focused access to emerging technologies, expert insights, and peer discussions while maximising time efficiency for attendees.

A major attraction at the event will be Innovation Park, a dedicated area featuring specialised pavilions focused on key sectors and technology themes. These include smart manufacturing, additive manufacturing technologies, aerospace and defence, clean technology, and emerging industrial innovations. The goal is to provide attendees with practical exposure to technologies that can address real-world operational and production challenges.

At the centre of the exhibition floor, the SME Zone will serve as a hub for leadership discussions, keynote sessions, and industry analysis. Topics are expected to include manufacturing investment strategies, workforce and skilled labour challenges, supply chain resilience, and the broader economic and geopolitical trends shaping the future of the industry.

In addition, the event’s Tech Hub will host more than 20 educational sessions across the two days, offering attendees deeper technical and strategic insights into modern manufacturing technologies and best practices. These sessions are designed to support knowledge sharing and help manufacturers better understand how to integrate advanced technologies into their operations.

The event also reflects the increasing importance of technology-driven transformation in manufacturing, as companies across sectors seek to improve productivity, automation, sustainability, and competitiveness. By bringing together suppliers, manufacturers, and industry experts under one roof, MMTS 2026 aims to facilitate collaboration and accelerate technology adoption across the Canadian manufacturing ecosystem.

Overall, MMTS 2026 is expected to serve as a significant industry gathering where manufacturers can evaluate next-generation solutions, gain strategic insights, and connect with peers and technology providers while preparing for the future of industrial production.
