In a landmark move to advance aerospace education and innovation, Mahindra University has partnered with Airbus through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on December 5, 2024. The collaboration aims to prepare a future-ready workforce by equipping students with skills in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and cybersecurity. This strategic alliance is set to redefine the integration of academia with the aerospace industry.
The partnership will focus on aligning academic programs with industry needs through joint curriculum development, industry training, and faculty-student exchange initiatives. This will enable students to gain hands-on experience in aerospace and digital technologies, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges. Additionally, the collaboration will facilitate advanced research opportunities, internships, and global networking through international institute connections and events like symposiums and workshops.
Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor of Mahindra University, emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership. “This MoU empowers our students to embrace advancements in aerospace and digital technologies, equipping them to meet tomorrow’s challenges head-on,” he said. Remi Maillard, President and Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of human capital. “Our collaboration with Mahindra University will nurture the talent required to propel India’s aerospace industry forward,” he stated.
