Locus Robotics Strengthens Leadership Team to Accelerate Growth and Automation Expansion!
Locus Robotics has announced the appointment of two senior executives as part of its strategy to scale operations and expand its presence in the global warehouse automation market. Alan McDonald joins as Vice President of Industry Solutions, while Ashley Wallace Jones has been named Vice President of Communications and Digital Experience.
The leadership additions come at a time when Locus Robotics is accelerating its global expansion and investing heavily in next-generation automation technologies powered by artificial intelligence. These appointments are expected to enhance customer engagement, strengthen go-to-market strategies, and elevate the company’s brand visibility across key industries.
Alan McDonald brings over 30 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and material handling. Prior to joining Locus Robotics, he held senior roles at GXO Logistics and GEODIS, where he led warehouse design and continuous improvement initiatives. His extensive experience in implementing automation in complex operational environments gives him a strong foundation to align Locus Robotics’ solutions with real-world customer needs.
In his new role, McDonald will focus on driving industry-specific solutions, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and improving sales execution. His ability to bridge operational challenges with advanced automation technologies is expected to play a key role in delivering measurable value to customers.
Ashley Wallace Jones brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, particularly within high-growth technology sectors. She previously led integrated marketing programs at PAN Communications, working with global enterprise clients in areas such as artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and cybersecurity.
At Locus Robotics, she will lead corporate communications, brand strategy, and digital experience initiatives. Her focus will be on strengthening messaging, enhancing customer engagement across digital channels, and supporting interactions with partners, customers, and investors.
These leadership appointments align with Locus Robotics’ broader strategy to expand its automation platform across industries including retail, healthcare, and third-party logistics. As warehouse operations become increasingly complex due to fluctuating demand, labour challenges, and rising order volumes, the company continues to develop solutions that enable greater efficiency, scalability, and operational agility.
Overall, the strengthened leadership team positions Locus Robotics to accelerate innovation, deepen customer relationships, and reinforce its role as a key player in the rapidly evolving warehouse automation landscape.
