JK Tyre Appoints Mandar V Deo as President – India to Drive Next Phase of Growth!
JK Tyre & Industries Limited has appointed Mandar V Deo as President – India, effective immediately. Based in New Delhi, he will report to Raghupati Singhania and Anshuman Singhania, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.
Mandar V Deo brings over two decades of leadership experience across the automotive and energy sectors. Prior to joining JK Tyre, he held senior roles at Exide Energy Solutions Limited, Cummins India, and Cummins Inc.. His experience spans business strategy, operations, and organisational leadership, equipping him with a strong foundation to drive growth and operational excellence in a competitive market.
Academically, Deo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with a Master’s degree and PhD from Pennsylvania State University. He also earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, bringing a balanced combination of technical expertise and business acumen to his new role.
As President – India, Deo will oversee domestic operations, strengthen market competitiveness, and support JK Tyre’s strategic priorities. His appointment comes at a time when the Indian automotive sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by evolving mobility trends, technological advancements, and an increasing focus on sustainability.
