Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB) has commissioned a new high-speed Kinley water production line at its state-of-the-art Avinya facility in Telangana, marking a major milestone in India’s beverage manufacturing landscape. Located in Banda Thimmapur, Siddipet district, the Avinya plant is among the company’s most advanced operations and reflects a significant long-term investment in capacity, technology, and sustainability.

Spread across 49 acres with a planned investment exceeding INR 2,000 crore, the facility currently operates seven advanced production lines. The newly added Kinley line stands out as one of the fastest within the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia system, capable of producing 500 ml PET bottles at speeds of up to 1,350 bottles per minute and 1-litre bottles at 1,000 bottles per minute. This level of performance sets a new benchmark for efficiency, precision, and high-volume output in packaged drinking water production.

The line is built on a highly integrated automation framework, enabling enhanced process control, visibility, and consistency. It incorporates a state-of-the-art water purification system that includes mineral injection and ozonisation technology, ensuring high product quality and compliance with stringent standards. Additionally, advanced lamella pack technology allows up to 90 percent water recovery, reinforcing HCCB’s focus on sustainable resource utilisation.

Operational efficiency is further enhanced through an integrated human-machine interface that enables centralised monitoring and control. The system supports improved reliability and reduces the likelihood of process disruptions. An advanced dosing mechanism ensures consistent packaging stability and product integrity, while real-time monitoring tools help optimise performance, minimise downtime, and enable faster production changeovers.

The facility has also been designed with energy efficiency in mind, aligning with broader sustainability goals. By combining automation with smart monitoring systems, the plant can adapt quickly to changing demand while maintaining high levels of productivity and resource efficiency.

According to Avinash Kant Kumar, Head of Integrated Supply Chain at HCCB, the Avinya facility represents a new benchmark in beverage manufacturing by integrating advanced automation with sustainable practices. He noted that the commissioning of the Kinley production line strengthens the company’s manufacturing capabilities while contributing to regional industrial development.

Overall, the expansion highlights HCCB’s commitment to building future-ready manufacturing infrastructure in India. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and sustainable processes, the company is well positioned to meet growing demand while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
