Gromax Agri Equipment Marks 25 Years with New Farming Solutions to Boost Productivity!

Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd, a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and the Government of Gujarat, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The company has evolved over the years, empowering Indian farmers with affordable, innovative mechanized solutions. Initially, Gromax started with a small range of tractors, but today, it boasts a diverse lineup designed to meet the various agricultural needs of farmers across the country.

Previously known as Mahindra Gujarat Tractor Ltd, the company underwent a rebranding in 2017 to become Gromax Agri Equipment. Over the years, it has significantly expanded its tractor offerings, growing from just four models to over 40 variants in the 20-50 HP range. The company has also introduced the TRAKSTAR and HINDUSTAN tractor brands, along with the TRAKMATE range of farm implements, further strengthening its position in the market.

As part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Gromax has launched new 4WD models like the Trakstar 525 and 536, along with new 2WD variants aimed at the orchard segment, enhancing its product lineup to cater to diverse agricultural needs. The company is also focusing on attracting younger farmers by introducing saffron and black color-themed tractors, making the brand more appealing to the next generation of farmers.

Gromax Agri Equipment continues to prioritize affordable mechanization, enabling farmers to simplify their farming processes and boost productivity. Hemant Sikka, President of Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, expressed pride in Gromax’s journey and reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to serving Indian farmers with reliable and accessible farming equipment. With its operations based in Vadodara and a 60:40 equity ratio between Mahindra and the Gujarat government, Gromax looks forward to expanding its presence and continuing to innovate in the Indian agriculture sector.
