The preliminary round kicks off with a rigorous theory test followed by two days of intensive training on the competition machine, the FX5 ULTRA 5-axis tool grinding machine, hosted at Anca’s facilities in Weinheim, Germany. The top five contenders will then dazzle audiences with live demonstrations of their practical prowess by grinding a workpiece or tool during the GrindingHub event from May 14-17, 2024, in Stuttgart.
