FPT Joins SAP’s Strategic Partner Program for APJ Region Growth

HANOI, Vietnam – FPT, a leading global IT services provider, has embarked on a new chapter by joining SAP’s Regional Strategic Services Partner (RSSP) initiative, initiated by SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). This strategic move aims to bolster the capabilities and market reach of established partners in the APJ region, accelerating their growth trajectory.

Under the RSSP initiative, SAP will offer eligible partners strategic support, including industry-aligned solutions, joint go-to-market strategies, and access to SAP’s regional and market unit industry expertise. By leveraging this initiative, FPT aims to expand its SAP practice swiftly across the APJ region and collaborate closely with SAP to ensure mutual customer success.

Unlike SAP’s existing Global Strategic Services Partner (GSSP) program, which includes a select group of global consulting, infrastructure, and technology partners, the RSSP initiative focuses on fostering collaboration within regional partner organizations. These partners demonstrate capabilities and capacity specific to the needs of APJ customers.

FPT’s SAP implementation and maintenance services are underpinned by a robust foundation of certified and experienced SAP resources, with over 900 certifications and a dedicated team of SAP consultants. Dr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman, emphasized the company’s commitment to enabling enterprises worldwide to manage their resources efficiently through successful digital transformation.

Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of FPT Software, highlighted the collaboration with SAP as an opportunity to enhance SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration and managed services, addressing the evolving needs of customers in the Asia Pacific Japan region.

Utkarsh Maheshwari, Chief Partner Officer at SAP Asia Pacific Japan, welcomed FPT Corporation to the SAP Regional Strategic Services Partner initiative. He underscored the vibrant partner ecosystem in the region and the potential for driving innovation and value for customers through strategic collaborations.

To qualify for the SAP RSSP initiative, partners must meet defined SAP criteria, including geographic presence, vertical industry competencies, and alignment on a common sustainability strategy.

FPT’s collaboration with SAP dates back to 2003, marked by numerous successful digital transformation projects across sectors such as Manufacturing, BFSI, and Energy. The company has received multiple awards from SAP over the years, including Partner of the Year for Vietnam and Outstanding Performance in Midmarket Partner of the Year.

Joining the SAP RSSP initiative underscores FPT’s commitment to driving digital transformation and delivering exceptional value to customers across the APJ region.
