EBG Group has announced the launch of Vajram Electric, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution hub in Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion strategy and commitment to strengthening India’s manufacturing capabilities. Designed as a centralised production, assembly, and logistics centre, the new facility is expected to create more than 450 employment opportunities while supporting the company’s ambitions across electric mobility, consumer electronics, and several other high-growth sectors.

The launch of Vajram Electric reflects EBG Group’s long-term vision of building an integrated manufacturing ecosystem that combines production efficiency, supply chain optimisation, and scalable operations under a single framework. The facility has been established with an initial investment of ₹25 crore and is set to play a pivotal role in driving the company’s future growth. EBG Group has also outlined plans for additional investments and phased expansion initiatives to further enhance the facility’s capabilities in the coming years.

Currently spanning approximately 25,000 square feet, the manufacturing hub is expected to double its footprint to 50,000 square feet within the next year. The expanded facility will support 11 business verticals through a unified multi-brand manufacturing platform, enabling EBG Group to streamline operations while meeting growing market demand across multiple industries.

Vajram Electric has been designed as an advanced assembly and manufacturing centre capable of supporting large-scale production requirements. The facility will serve as the operational backbone for EBG Group’s diverse portfolio of businesses, including electric vehicles, battery-powered mobility solutions, consumer electronics, and other technology-driven product segments. By centralising manufacturing and logistics activities, the company aims to improve productivity, reduce operational complexities, and create a more agile supply chain.

Speaking on the launch, Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder of EBG Group, described the project as a transformational step for the organisation. He emphasised that Vajram Electric represents more than just a manufacturing facility; it is the strategic foundation for the company’s future growth plans. According to Khan, the hub has been developed to support multiple high-growth industries simultaneously, allowing EBG Group to achieve economies of scale while enhancing competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.

He further noted that integrating manufacturing, assembly, and distribution operations into a single ecosystem would improve speed, efficiency, and consistency across the company’s operations. This approach is expected to strengthen EBG Group’s ability to respond quickly to changing market demands while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Hari Kiran, Co-founder of EBG Group, highlighted the operational advantages of the new facility. He explained that bringing manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution together under one framework would provide greater control over the supply chain, improve cost efficiency, and reduce turnaround times. The integrated model will also help ensure consistent product quality across all business divisions while enabling sustainable and structured expansion.

Sustainability has been positioned as a core pillar of the project. The facility is being developed around a zero-waste manufacturing philosophy, with processes and systems designed to minimise waste generation and optimise resource utilisation. As production capacity expands, the company plans to further strengthen its environmental initiatives, aligning growth objectives with responsible manufacturing practices.

The upgraded facility is also expected to enhance EBG Group’s ability to meet increasing domestic demand while creating export-ready manufacturing capabilities. Planned investments in automation, advanced manufacturing technologies, and systems integration will help improve productivity, maintain quality consistency, and support future expansion into global markets.

Beyond manufacturing, Vajram Electric will operate within a growing nationwide supply chain network that includes strategically located logistics hubs and a multi-channel distribution model. The company’s distribution strategy combines e-commerce platforms, dealer networks, and offline retail channels, enabling broader market reach and faster product availability across India.

The launch comes at a time when India is actively promoting domestic manufacturing, electric mobility adoption, and self-reliance through initiatives such as Make in India and Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes. By investing in advanced manufacturing infrastructure and EV-focused production capabilities, EBG Group is positioning itself to contribute to the country’s industrial growth while capitalising on rising demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

Looking ahead, EBG Group has set an ambitious goal of capturing 10 percent of India’s EV manufacturing market within the next five years. With Vajram Electric serving as the foundation of its manufacturing and supply chain strategy, the company is creating a scalable platform that can support innovation, operational excellence, and long-term growth across multiple industries while strengthening India’s position as a global manufacturing hub.
