Bowers Group has unveiled the latest evolution of its heritage brand, Moore & Wright, with the launch of an expanded range of advanced testing and inspection instruments. Building on two successful product introductions earlier in 2024, the new collection features an array of high-precision equipment designed to support engineers and manufacturers in achieving greater accuracy and efficiency.
This new range includes state-of-the-art microscopes, a flexible videoscope, and several key measurement tools tailored for precision-driven environments. Designed with reliability and ease of use in mind, these instruments strengthen Moore & Wright’s longstanding reputation for dependable metrology solutions.
Martin Hawkins, Managing Director of Bowers Group, commented:
“We are always looking for new ways to evolve the Moore & Wright brand, and this latest range is a great example of that. It’s all about giving engineers and manufacturers the tools they need to work more accurately, efficiently, and with greater confidence. These new products build on Moore & Wright’s strong reputation for reliability and precision, and we are proud to keep pushing this forward.”
Among the highlights of the new range are ultrasonic hardness testers that enable quick, non-destructive measurements, featuring options for motorised or manual probes, multi-scale readings, and wireless data transfer. A digital video microscope offers sharp, real-time imaging with adjustable lighting, while the Stereo Zoom microscope allows for 3D magnification from 6.7x to 45x.
The newly launched videoscope, equipped with a 360-degree articulated probe and a high-resolution camera, is purpose-built for inspecting hard-to-reach areas—making it an essential tool for maintenance, quality control, and R&D applications. Additionally, the Digital Dial Snap Micrometer delivers IP54-rated protection, dual analogue/digital readouts, and seamless data connectivity via USB or wireless interface.
Each product has been engineered to uphold the trusted quality synonymous with Moore & Wright, providing professional-grade solutions for a wide range of inspection and measurement tasks.
