ANCA has inaugurated a new technology center in Korea, further solidifying its presence in the Asian market. With over 30 years of offering sales and service support to diverse industries in Korea, the opening of this facility marks a significant expansion for the company in the region.

Jake Farragher, ANCA Asia’s general manager, emphasizes the company’s commitment to Korean customers through this investment in local infrastructure. The new center will provide premium sales and service support, showcasing ANCA’s flexible grinding machines, cutting-edge software, and innovative automation solutions.

Having served global grinding solutions for half a century, ANCA’s Korea facility, situated near Seoul, houses the latest technologies, including ANCA’s Ultra technology featuring nanometer resolution control. The Ultra machine range ensures optimized accuracy, quality, and surface finishing capabilities for tool production.

The demonstration facility features the MX and FX Ultra machines alongside automation solutions incorporating ANCA’s Integrated Manufacturing System (AIMS). AIMS streamlines manufacturing processes, maximizing accuracy and consistency while minimizing downtime, thus enabling end-to-end, digitally connected, automated production systems for cutting tools. The facility also offers comprehensive support and training services.

Reflecting on ANCA’s journey, co-founder Pat Boland expresses pride in the company’s evolution over the past 50 years. Boland highlights ANCA’s commitment to innovation, citing recent releases such as the Ultra and GCX packages as examples of the company’s dedication to cutting-edge technology.
