AKS Cutting Systems has introduced the dura-max plasma cutting system, a new heavy-duty gantry cutting platform engineered to support large-scale metal fabrication and complex industrial cutting applications. Developed as the larger and more robust counterpart to the company’s existing dura-kut machine, the dura-max is designed to consolidate multiple cutting technologies into a single integrated system capable of handling demanding production environments.

The new plasma cutting system is built for manufacturers requiring high-capacity processing, long cutting tables, and flexible multi-process operations. According to AKS Cutting Systems, the dura-max can be paired with cutting tables up to 200 feet in length, making it suitable for industries handling oversized metal plates, structural components, heavy equipment fabrication, shipbuilding, energy infrastructure, and industrial manufacturing applications.
