3M India Launches Electronics Customer Experience Center in Bangalore!

3M India has officially inaugurated its Electronics Customer Experience Center in Bangalore, underscoring the company’s deepening commitment to India’s rapidly growing electronics manufacturing sector. This strategic launch marks a key milestone in 3M’s efforts to strengthen collaboration, innovation, and technology integration across the country’s expanding electronics ecosystem. The center was inaugurated by Dr. Steven Vander Louw, President of 3M Display & Electronics Product Platforms, USA, in the presence of senior leadership from 3M India.

Located within 3M India’s R&D Center in Electronics City, the new facility is designed as a hub for co-creation and technical collaboration with customers and partners. It will allow electronics manufacturers to directly engage with 3M’s material science innovations and tailor solutions for evolving industry needs. The center’s establishment aligns with India’s vision of becoming a global electronics manufacturing hub and highlights 3M’s commitment to fostering local innovation and capability development.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Steven Vander Louw highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating, “India is rapidly emerging as a global hub for electronics manufacturing, and 3M is proud to contribute to this growth story. The new Electronics Customer Experience Center brings our science closer to customers, enabling faster problem-solving and the co-creation of sustainable solutions that drive progress and innovation in the industry.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Ramesh Ramadurai, Managing Director of 3M India, emphasized that India’s electronics industry is poised for exponential growth driven by investments in advanced manufacturing and technology. “The customer experience center aims to capitalize on these opportunities and support the industry’s growth trajectory. We look forward to strengthening our partnerships with the electronics sector by delivering high-quality, customized solutions that meet the evolving demands of the market,” he said.

The facility will serve as an interactive environment where customers can explore, test, and co-develop solutions that enhance reliability, performance, and energy efficiency across sectors such as consumer electronics, semiconductors, and industrial automation. It will also showcase 3M’s diverse electronics portfolio, including conductive and thermal management materials, semiconductor solutions, electronics abrasives, and bonding technologies. Through this platform, 3M aims to demonstrate how its global expertise in materials science can directly contribute to India’s local manufacturing ecosystem.

Beyond product development, the new center represents 3M India’s long-term strategy to invest in local infrastructure, strengthen technical capabilities, and build closer customer engagement. By enabling direct collaboration and faster innovation cycles, 3M seeks to play an active role in advancing India’s manufacturing competitiveness while supporting national priorities in technology-driven development.
