MTDCNC has announced a new collaboration with Zimmer Group ahead of MACH Exhibition 2026, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing automation, efficiency, and connected manufacturing on the modern shopfloor.

At this year’s exhibition, Zimmer Group will present a fully integrated automation ecosystem designed to address the evolving demands of manufacturing. Rather than showcasing standalone products, the focus will be on how multiple technologies work together to create a seamless, efficient production environment.

Visitors to the Zimmer Group stand will experience a connected workflow in action, featuring autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) such as Miles and the ZiMo mobile robot cell, alongside zero-point clamping systems and advanced handling solutions. The combined offering demonstrates how manufacturers can streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall productivity through intelligent integration.

A key highlight will be the GPP5000AL 2-jaw parallel gripper, including a new long-stroke variant that delivers up to 60% increased stroke within the same footprint. This development enables greater flexibility in component handling while maintaining compact system design and cost efficiency.

The technologies on display are aligned with key industry priorities, including reducing setup times, enabling autonomous material movement, and supporting the transition towards lights-out manufacturing. By connecting multiple processes into a unified system, Zimmer Group aims to help manufacturers build more agile and scalable production environments.

As part of the collaboration, MTDCNC will be filming live from the Zimmer Group stand throughout MACH 2026. The coverage will include in-depth demonstrations, expert insights, and practical breakdowns of how the technology can be applied in real-world manufacturing settings.

“Partnerships like this are about delivering meaningful value to the industry,” said a spokesperson from MTDCNC. “It’s not just about showcasing products, but about helping engineers and decision-makers understand how integrated solutions can drive performance on the shopfloor.”

Visitors attending MACH 2026 are encouraged to explore the Zimmer Group stand to see these solutions in action. For those unable to attend, MTDCNC’s coverage will bring the latest innovations directly to a global audience.
