MMC Hardmetal UK to Showcase Integrated Tooling, Circular Economy Initiatives, and European Capabilities at MACH 2026
By Tom Skubala
MMC Hardmetal UK will present a comprehensive portfolio of advanced tooling solutions and sustainable manufacturing initiatives at MACH 2026, one of the United Kingdom’s leading manufacturing technology exhibitions. Visitors can find the company in Hall 20, Stand 461, where a large-scale presence will highlight the latest developments in cutting tool technology, lifecycle services, and circular economy strategies.

As part of its exhibition, MMC Hardmetal UK will demonstrate how it is evolving beyond a traditional tooling supplier into a full-service manufacturing partner, offering end-to-end solutions that span original tool production, bespoke tooling design, reconditioning services, and aftersales support.
A central feature of this year’s stand will be a dedicated Circular Economy zone, designed to showcase the company’s growing capabilities in sustainability and material reuse. This includes advanced recycling programmes driven by the integration of H.C. Starck into the wider Mitsubishi Materials Group. These initiatives aim to support manufacturers in reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and meeting increasingly stringent environmental targets.
Further strengthening its European operations, Mitsubishi Materials has expanded its reconditioning and custom tooling capabilities through the acquisition of U.F.P. S.r.l. This development enables significantly reduced response times and improved delivery performance for customers across Europe, particularly in the critical area of tool reconditioning and lifecycle management.

Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to explore a wide array of the latest tooling innovations, supported by on-hand application experts. Key product highlights include:
- The VQ long neck series for high-precision, small-diameter machining
- Advanced solid-carbide drills and DXAS exchangeable-head drills for efficient machining of steel and cast iron
- Next-generation indexable milling solutions featuring advanced carbide substrates, geometries, and coatings
- The latest XB series indexable inserts are designed specifically for small part applications

General Manager Jason Purcell and the MMC Hardmetal UK team will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss how these technologies and services can be integrated into modern production environments to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall process performance.
In addition, MTDCNC will be present on the stand, capturing live content and providing global exposure of MMC Hardmetal UK’s solutions to the wider manufacturing audience.
MACH 2026 provides an important platform for industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in engineering and manufacturing. MMC Hardmetal UK’s participation reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering measurable value to customers across the sector.
