
MTDCNC Concludes Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Visit to Karcan Cutting Tools

MTDCNC has concluded a successful multi-day visit to Karcan Cutting Tools in Turkey, offering an exclusive insight into one of the country’s leading cutting tool manufacturers and the technology, innovation and people driving its global success.


During the visit, the MTDCNC team followed the complete manufacturing life cycle of a solid carbide end mill, from raw carbide preparation through precision grinding, advanced coating, quality inspection and finally live cutting demonstrations. The visit also provided an in-depth look at Karcan’s investment in research and development, automation and next-generation manufacturing technologies.
One of the most striking aspects of the tour was the scale of the company’s future ambitions. With dedicated production space already prepared for more than 40 additional machine tools, Karcan continues to invest heavily in expanding its manufacturing capacity to meet growing global demand.
