Guhring’s solid carbide micro-precision tools with internal cooling ducts in the carbide start as small as 0.2mm and are finished in their own silicon coating allowing fantastic tool life and consistent quality. The unique design of the ducts allows air or coolant to be directed straight onto the cutting edge allowing excellent swarf evacuation to ensure perfect parts finish; it is possible to produce a mirror finish with these tools.
