OGM Moulding Innovations turn to Warwick Machine Tools to solve their EDM problems

OGM Moulding Innovations, a plastic injection moulding company founded in 1962 with factories in Oxfordshire and Wales have recently invested in three machines for their mould tool room from Warwick Machine Tools. As Richard Bailey explains to MTDCNC’s Tom Skubala, the first machine is an Excetek HD30Z small hole EDM drilling machine. It will drill holes from 0.3mm to 3mm diameter. This machine is perfect for drilling holes in pre-hardened materials and start holes for wire erosion machines. The semi CNC control also has several different material types pre-set in to the control. Next we have the Exectek V400G an EDM wire erosion machine with auto wire rethreading and upper & lower flushing to reduce debris, making it perfect for lights out running. You can also run multiple work pieces on this machine. The V400G also comes with a user friendly touch screen with great, easy to follow, infographics. Last but most certainly not least is the Exectek ED400, Warwick Machine Tools entry level Die Sink machine. This is a full three axis CNC machine with a very clever control that helps you with square, conical, spherical and even star shaped interpolation, basically any shape you want. All these three machines are perfect for the die & mould industry – it’s easy to see why OGM went to Warwick Machine Tools.
