MTDCNC and Mastercam UK & Ireland Showcase Manufacturing Excellence at Verus Metrology Partners

MTDCNC has kicked off its Ireland manufacturing tour with Mastercam UK & Ireland, beginning with an in-depth visit to Verus Metrology Partners to explore the technology, expertise and people behind the company’s continued success.
The first stop of the tour saw the MTDCNC team spend the day with Michael Nugent and the wider Verus Metrology Partners team, gaining an inside look at the company’s journey, manufacturing capabilities and approach to delivering high-quality manufacturing and metrology solutions to customers.
As part of the visit, MTDCNC filmed an extensive facility tour with Michael Nugent, taking viewers behind the scenes of the operation and exploring the technology, processes and engineering expertise that underpin the business.
The team also sat down with members of the Verus engineering team to discuss the role Mastercam plays across its manufacturing operation and how CAD/CAM technology supports the connection between design, programming and production.
The interviews explored a range of topics, including programming efficiency, manufacturing productivity, communication between departments and the importance of having the right technology and support in place to meet increasingly demanding customer requirements.
Throughout the day, Michael Nugent, Simon McFadden, Clive Brennan, Barry Breslin and Farrah McDonagh shared their experiences and perspectives, providing insight into how Verus continues to develop its capabilities and strengthen its manufacturing processes.
The visit forms part of a wider collaboration between MTDCNC and Mastercam UK & Ireland to showcase manufacturing excellence across Ireland. The series will highlight innovative manufacturers, their people and capabilities, while exploring how Mastercam technology and local technical support are helping businesses improve efficiency, tackle complex manufacturing challenges and remain competitive.
