More Pallets, More Profit – Exploring the Matsuura MX-520 PC7 with Maquinser at BIEMH
By Lyndsey Vickers
At this year’s BIEMH exhibition in Spain, Maquinser presented one of the largest and most technology-packed stands at the event, showcasing a wide range of advanced manufacturing solutions from its portfolio of leading machine tool brands.
The MTDCNC team were on hand to capture the action, with Paul Jones and Lyndsey Vickers taking a closer look at some of the key technologies on display.
One machine that stood out was the Matsuura MX-520 PC7, an advanced 5-axis machining centre designed to deliver highly reliable lights-out manufacturing.
Seven Pallets for Extended Unmanned Production
A key feature of this latest configuration is the seven-pallet automation system. While previous versions of the MX-520 offered fewer pallets, the PC7 system increases capacity, allowing manufacturers to run longer production cycles without operator intervention.
For machine shops focused on maximising spindle utilisation, this additional pallet capacity can make a significant difference. With multiple jobs queued and ready to run, the MX-520 PC7 enables manufacturers to confidently operate the machine overnight or during unattended shifts, maintaining productivity around the clock.
This capability is particularly valuable for companies producing complex, high-value components, where 5-axis machining combined with pallet automation provides both flexibility and efficiency.
Maquinser’s Technology Showcase at BIEMH
Maquinser’s presence at BIEMH highlighted its role as a major supplier of advanced manufacturing technologies across Spain and Europe. Their stand brought together a range of high-performance solutions from multiple technology partners, demonstrating how modern machine tools, automation and software are transforming manufacturing productivity.
More from Maquinser Coming Soon
This visit to BIEMH is just the beginning of a deeper look at Maquinser and its operations.
The MTDCNC team will be visiting Maquinser again in April, this time travelling to Porto, as part of a broader initiative throughout 2026 to explore the company, its facilities and the innovative solutions it provides to manufacturers across the region.
Expect much more content in the coming months as MTDCNC continues to showcase the people, technology and applications behind Maquinser’s success.
