Takumi 5-Axis Investment For Midlands Engineering Company

Friday 5 February 2021, 11:33:08 AM

We are pleased to announce that another Takumi 5-axis machining centre has been purchased by an Engineering company in Staffordshire.

The local firm gained their confidence in the Takumi brand with an investment made early last year. Their previous investment was their first Takumi 5-axis machining centre, the U600, which has been successfully manufacturing high precision components with outstanding surfaces finishes. Adding to their investment proves their trust in the Takumi brand and helps them take another positive step forward in their ever-growing demand in helping them deliver quality components.

The newest investment is the sophisticated UR1000 and has been chosen to manufacturer large and complex components. This machine is one of the newest within the 5-axis range that Takumi offer. It was launched a couple of years ago at the TIMTOS exhibition. With a motorised Italian swivel head spindle on a robust double column frame, the highly flexible UR1000 is available with a choice of either a 1000 mm C-axis rotary table, a dual combination of flat and rotary tables, or a 1600 x 1000 mm flat rectangular table.

The machine is due to be delivered and installed soon. For more information on Takumi or the UR100 visit www.leadercnc.co.uk or alternatively follow us on our social media channels for regular updates.
