We are pleased to announce that a local company based in Staffordshire have invested in a Gruppo Parpas SHARK ram-type CNC bed mill.
The Italian manufacturer, Gruppo Parpas, offers U.K. manufacturers quality machines for medium/large complex components. The SHARK is a high speed, fixed bed moving column machining centre. The extending ram can be supplied in a number of spindle configurations depending on the manufacturer’s requirements – including high speed, high power/torque and 5-axis capabilities. The table can be up to 5.5M in length and is available as a single surface, fitted with an in-built rotary turning table or a central partition for pendulum milling.
This investment by the local engineering company has added to their ever-growing range of CNC machines to assist with their increasing workload. Their success, together with higher demand and the creation of even more opportunities and bigger prospects, provides strong reassurance for their team in the uncertain circumstances currently surrounding the world.
Furthermore, the SHARK has already received a warm review from another company in the U.K. who invested with Leader CNC Technologies and Gruppo Parpas last year. This sophisticated, highly accurate machining centre is key in successfully manufacturing complex aerospace parts for the northern aerospace company.
