T & R Precision Engineering significantly improve production flow in partnership with NCMT
The MTDCNC team visited T & R Precision Engineering recently with Howard Taylor from NCMT to discover how their turnkey & Okuma Turn Cut solution won the day with the Okuma MU5000V 5 axis machining centre and flexible Cellro robot cell. Graham from T & R Precision Engineering tells us that a certain aerospace part was taking up to 4 time consuming operations with the old process, so to become competitive they worked with Howard and the NCMT team to heavily invest in the complete manufacturing solution which can now produce the part in one hit and gives them extra capacity to attract further high end work. This is a great UK manufacturing success story and collaboration with NCMT and Okuma.
