CNC Precision Meets Mountain Biking Innovation

Sunday 26 July 2026, 8:42:50 PM

CNC Future Technics has unveiled a groundbreaking mountain bike, revolutionising how these bikes can be manufactured. Known as Fracebike, this innovative creation combines advanced machining techniques with robust functionality, making it a trail-ready marvel.

The bike is crafted from 7075 aerospace-grade aluminium, known for its strength and lightweight properties, and is machined using a Hermle C400. This machine employs stable 5-axis machining, a process facilitated by the programming capabilities of hyperMILL. The result is a frame that boasts complex geometries, long toolpaths, and consistent surface quality, underscoring the precision of modern manufacturing.

Weighing in at just 16.7 kg, the mountain bike provides 180 mm of travel, offering both durability and performance on rugged terrains. CNC Future Technics highlights that this isn’t merely a showcase piece but a fully rideable bike designed to handle real-world cycling challenges.

The initiative illustrates a growing trend in the manufacturing industry where advanced machining processes are applied to consumer products. By using aerospace-grade materials and precision engineering, CNC Future Technics sets a new standard for mountain bikes, blending engineering excellence with practical application.

CNC Future Technics, through the Fracebike, has successfully fused traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, showcasing the potential of CNC machining in diverse applications.
