MTDCNC Supports Global Sandvik Coromant Content Project in Arkansas
By Arthur Field
MTDCNC has once again demonstrated its versatility in industrial media production, supporting a global content initiative for Sandvik Coromant in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Known for producing factory tours, technical deep-dives, customer success stories, and event coverage across the manufacturing sector, the project presented a different challenge for MTDCNC presenter and technical reporter Tom Skubala.

Rather than filming on a traditional shop floor, the production began in Fort Smith’s historic Baking District, where Sandvik Coromant’s Tracy Rhodes was interviewed against a carefully selected backdrop designed to support a white-label global content campaign.
The objective was simple but critical: create a relaxed environment that allowed the conversation to flow naturally while ensuring the visual style matched the requirements of the wider international project.
Following the interview, the team visited ABB alongside local Sandvik Coromant representative Jim, capturing additional b-roll footage featuring Tracy Rhodes and customer Lynn as they toured the facility and discussed the role of technology, collaboration, and innovation within modern manufacturing environments.

Although the project differed from MTDCNC’s traditional approach of developing storylines, researching facilities, and building interview structures ahead of filming, it highlighted one of the company’s core strengths: helping people communicate their expertise effectively on camera.
“Every project is different, but the goal remains the same,” said Tom Skubala of MTDCNC. “Whether we’re filming on a busy shop floor, at a major international exhibition, or in a completely different setting, our job is to help people tell their stories and share valuable insights with the manufacturing community.”
The project forms part of a wider global content strategy for Sandvik Coromant and will be released through the company’s international channels at a later date.

MTDCNC would like to thank Marita Sander, Tracy Rhodes, Jim, Lynn, and the wider Sandvik Coromant team for the opportunity to contribute to the project and help bring another manufacturing story to life.
As manufacturers continue to embrace digital communication and video content, collaborations such as this demonstrate the growing importance of authentic storytelling in connecting technology providers, manufacturers, and end users across the global industrial sector.
